Transfer Deadline Day was as hectic as ever with moves falling and finalised in the eleventh hour including Enner Valencia's back-and-forth transfer from Swansea CIty to Everton.
Francesco Guidolin was hoping to land the signing of the Ecuadorian frontman until Ronald Koeman's Everton pipped them to acquiring his services.
Though the South-Wales side seemed fairly confident of pulling off the deal, well, judging by their official clubs website. They published an article titled "in-depth look at Swans' latest signing" just hours after the 26-year-old snubbed the offer in favour of Everton.
The piece even detailed his nickname while issuing a challenge to become a hero in the City. Needless to say, the trigger-happy article is no longer on the site.

Valencia eventually joins Goodison Park on an initial loan deal with a view to a permanent deal. After 10 goals in 66 appearance for West Ham, he'll be seeking to add to his Premier League tally as he attempts to break into the Dutchman's starting XI.
