Sergio Ramos' Incredibly Honest View On Neymar's Potential Move To PSG

As frank as they come.

The Neymar to PSG stories are still very much dominating the news, with some sections of the football media saying that a 222 million (£196 million) move could be wrapped up imminently in the next few days.

The Brazilian superstar has been in scintillating form in pre-season and registered two assists in Barca's El Clasico 3-2 win over Real in Miami last night, but major doubt has been cast over his future at the Nou Camp.

Seemingly everyone has an opinion on the potential transfer, and the decision Neymar should make for the sake of his career - and Real captain Sergio Ramos is no different.

Only the Spanish centre-back, who made his first appearance of pre-season in the five-goal thriller, really couldn't give a shit about the Neymar fiasco, it seems.

Answering honestly and frankly when asked about Neymar and the possibility of him completing a world-record move to PSG, Ramos simply stressed he hopes it happens.

As quoted by Goal, he said:

"I do not know, everyone is free to choose their future. "I hope [he leaves]. It would be less of a problem for us.

"I changed the shirt with him and I hope it is the last one I have used with Barca."

Here's how Twitter reacted:

A few days back, Gianluigi Buffon weighed in on the Neymar situation - admitting his bewilderment at the way the market is at the moment.

"It all sounds fake," Buffon said to Gazzetta Dello Sport, via Goal.

"Why is Neymar worth €220m and not €600m? My grandfather always said: 'Inflate and inflate, but the balloon will always burst.'

"I can't understand the parameters for evaluating a player anymore. It's all very random and everything is in the hands of the people who have the most money: today it's 10 but tomorrow it's 100."
