"Se queda." Words that will remain synonymous with Gerard Pique.

The Spanish defender went from player to president as he did his best to convince Neymar to stay at Barcelona amid intense transfer speculation to Paris Saint-Germain.

He uploaded a picture of the pair with THOSE words which appeared to put the wild transfer rumours to bed.

Though the Brazilian ultimately secured his monstrous deal to the French giants.

After running out for his new side, Neymar has made an instant impact as he's already weighed in with goals and assists. Not to mention rainbow flicks.

But with the Ligue 1 season just three games old, the 25-year-old, along with Dani Alves, have reunited with their former Barcelona teammates.

And there was only going to be one caption when Neymar took a picture with Pique.

If that wasn't enough, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez also savagely trolled Pique.

Neymar also took to social media to post another picture accompanied with the words "Amigos."

Meanwhile, Barcelona are planning to sue their former player for a breach of his contract.

"The club demands the player return the already paid sum as he has not completed his contract," the statement reads.

8.5 million euro is the sum in question with the club wanting "an additional 10% because of delayed payment".

The statement continued: "The club also requests Paris St-Germain take on responsibility for the payment of these fees if the player cannot do so himself."

The news comes hot on the heels of Neymar's criticism of the current Barcelona board,

"I spent four beautiful years there and parted happy. But with them [the board], no," Neymar said following the 6-2 thrashing of Toulouse, last Sunday.

"For me, they are not the people who should be there, for the direction of Barca. Barca deserve much better," he added.
