Football Fans All Think Wenger Said The Same Thing To Guardiola Before Game

Football Fans All Think Wenger Said The Same Thing To Guardiola Before Game

They were involved in a rather bizarre chat on the touchline...

Arsene Wenger and Pep Guardiola were seen in deep conversation prior to Manchester City's 3-0 win at the Emirates last night and football fans were all in agreement over what they thought was said in the chat.

The two managers had matched up at Wembley a couple of days earlier, where City were also 3-0 winners in the Carabao Cup final.

The same result followed in the league game on Thursday evening, though this time the damage was done in the first half as opposed to the first half, with City's gorgeous goals coming from Bernardo Silva, David Silva and Leroy Sane in a stunning 18-minute spell.

City relaxed in the second half but Arsenal were still far inferior and are now a whopping 30 points behind the league leaders.

And when that discussion between Wenger and Guardiola took place, which included the Gunners boss pointing his finger at the Catalan, pretty much everyone reckons he was asking him to take it easy on his woefully out out form side:

Wenger's future has obviously come into question after a series of poor performances but he was subjected to praise from his opposite number in his post-match press conference last night.

"He knows my admiration for him," he said when asked about Wenger, as per TalkSPORT

"We play, we fight many, many times in Barcelona, a lot of times in Bayern Munich, a lot of times here in Premier League. A lot of times.

"I can understand the situation. I know all the managers can be in that situation. He knows, he handles that situation. He has a lot of experience.

"He knows the club, he knows the Premier League, he knows his players. And I'm sure he's going to take the right decision, for the club, for him, for the players, for everybody."
