Earlier today one fan went viral when he posted an incredible thread of Jamie Carragher's famous 'THERE!' during his punditry.
Now it's the turn of Neville. Like his colleague, the former Manchester United full back has his own signature move only his comes in commentary instead of during punditry.
The former England player is well known for getting very excited when describing the action and coming out with an 'oooo' that really comes from pure emotion.
One fan has put all the clips together in another excellent thread:
Rating Gary Neville's "oooo" in his football commentary. A thread:- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
6/10. The length is there, but quite monotone. pic.twitter.com/EfuqNFpjUZ- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
8/10. Superb effort from Gary. The "oooh" swiftly shifts gear which really adds depth. pic.twitter.com/lYidiq8wH9- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
4/10. Knows he could've done better with this one. Tries to recover at the end with a last-ditch volume increase to overshadow Tyler but is unsuccessful. pic.twitter.com/yBdDWgLR0P- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
9/10. Again, superb use of the gear change. Passion behind this one too. The first of a wonderful hattrick. [1/3] pic.twitter.com/XJEOxTS2ek- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
7/10. An unsure 'ooh'. Quite underrated in my opinion, captures the moment well. [2/3] pic.twitter.com/byJNMEXjHU- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
7/10. The completion of a very well taken hattrick. Don't listen to this one with your eyes closed. [3/3] pic.twitter.com/o93vvIqzGo- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
7.5/10. Started off positively but quickly shifted his attention to the referee unfortunately. pic.twitter.com/QIetTMtEOB- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
1000/10. Doubt he will ever top this goalgasm from 2012. Still without doubt his best work. pic.twitter.com/wNklGHVrvs- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
9.9/10. Gary treats us to three ooo's in one here. Brilliant work. pic.twitter.com/1iYI9gf3Ms- Josh (@UtdJL) January 20, 2021
Neville has been very good since he joined the Sky Sports team for punditry and commentary, even turning round the opinions of rival fans who previously hated him.
However the former United man had an absolutely mare just a week ago, when commentating on his old side during their win over Burnley.
The 45-year-old blamed VAR confusion for his poor performance on the mic, and he did improve in time for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side's 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
