He's regarded as one of the best players in Europe at the moment but, apparently, Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez has absolutely no idea who Man City's Ilkay Gündoğan is.
The German international is currently coming to terms with suffering a long-term knee injury which will keep him out for the rest of City's season, which prompted a bizarre tribute from Pep Guardiola's first-team players.
Before the game against Arsenal on December 18 at the Etihad, City players emerged from the Etihad tunnel each wearing a shirt with '8 Gündoğan' on the front, leaving fans on social media to jokingly query whether or not the player had actually died.
However, new footage has emerged from that evening showing Sanchez questioning exactly who the tribute is for:
He was caught on Chilean TV asking his Chilean international team-mate Claudio Bravo before the game: "Who is number 8? Is he young?"

After being informed that the tribute he thought was for a child is actually for a 26-year-old German international who has scored in a Champions League final, Alexis laughs it off and says "I don't know anything".
Don't worry, Alexis - it was all a bit over the top.
