For this year’s tournament in Qatar, Ladbrokes are giving you the chance to win some amazing prizes throughout the competition.

The biggest tournament of the year kicks off in a matter of days and Ladbrokes wants to reward you for watching games during the tournament. During the half-time of each game of the tournament, Ladbrokes will be hosting a free and easy to play quiz for you to take part in.

The winner of each Tier 1 quiz will receive £1,000 cash with money to be won from 1st place to 500th, meaning even if you don’t win the quiz, you could still be in the money!

Tier 2 and Tier 3 quizzes have a smaller prize pool, but with entry being free, there’s no reason not to play!

At the end of the tournament - Ladbrokes will also take your three best results which will be put into a leaderboard. The winner will receive £10,000 with 2nd place winning £5,000 and 3rd winning £2,500.

This isn’t just your normal quiz, the Ladbrokes quiz will be focussing on things that have taken place in the first half of the game. You will need an eagle eye to do well. Questions will be asked about the colour of the referee’s shirt, the number of a player’s shirt or simply just who scored the goal.

There will be six multiple-choice questions with four possible answers. The quicker you answer, the more points you will receive. Between each question, you will see your current rank meaning you’ll always know how you’re doing. Players will receive an extra life, meaning if you give a wrong answer, Ladbrokes will automatically select the right one for you. Be careful though, this can only be used once during the tournament! However, you can earn extra lives by recommending the quiz to others.

At the end of the quiz you will be asked to guess the final result of the game. The odds of this result will act as a multiplier to your score. Get the final score correct and your score will increase. This means even if you didn’t do as well in the quiz, you still have a chance of gaining some big points, and we all know what points make.

Not only will you earn cash prizes for being top of the leaderboard, you can also create leagues with your friends just to prove that you know more than them. You’ll be able to compare stats such as correct answers and average speed with another person.

The first half-time quiz will take place during half-time of the opening game of the tournament, Qatar vs Ecuador. Make sure you’ve downloaded the Ladbrokes app and made an account in time to join the quiz!
