Zlatan Ibrahimovic has explained why he thinks he is the greatest footballer of all time ahead of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Manchester United forward sat down with Piers Morgan on Talk TV to touch on a series of topics in football.

He made a hilarious claim about players who put sex above goals and questioned the future of Erik ten Hag at Man United.

The ex-Barcelona, Inter Milan and Juventus man also aimed a dig at Cristiano Ronaldo and the other stars who left Europe for Saudi Arabia.

Morgan also asked Ibrahimovic where he would rank himself in a list of all-time great footballers.

And he didn't disappoint as he claimed he would be at the top of the list ahead of the likes of Messi and Ronaldo. Check it out below:

When the 42-year-old pressed Morgan on how to measure greatness, the reporter replied: "I'm talking about individual quality."

Ibrahimovic's response was simple: "I think I am the best... without joking."

He added: "I'm the most complete player that ever exists."

Ibrahimovic continued by conceding that he wasn't able to win a Champions League or Ballon d'Or during his legendary career but insists on ability alone - he's the best.

The Swede enjoyed a glittering playing career before calling time on his career in June.

He won league titles in the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and France, with Ajax, Barca, Juve/Inter/AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain respectively.

Not to mention the Europa League and the EFL Cup during his spell at Man United.

Is Ibrahimovic the greatest footballer of all-time? Let us know what you think.
