West Ham have confirmed that four first team players will leave the club at the end of the season.

The Hammers have had a torrid Premier League season and currently sit in 17th place, though their safety has already been secured.

Manager Julen Lopetegui was sacked in January and replaced by Graham Potter, but the former Chelsea boss has failed to inspire an upturn in form thus far.

And though the season is not yet complete, the Hammers have announced part of their retained list early - with a series of notable departures.

They have confirmed that senior players Lukasz Fabianski, Aaron Cresswell, Vladimir Coufal and Danny Ings will all leave the club upon the expiration of their contracts at the end of the season.

All four players were part of the club's 2023 Europa Conference League-winning squad, with 35-year-old Cresswell having spent 11 years at the London Stadium since signing from Ipswich.

The 35-year-old was one of the Premier League's most consistent left-backs for a number of seasons, and collected three England caps between 2016 and 2017.

Cresswell has made over 300 appearances for West Ham, but has played just 26 Premier League games in the last two seasons.

Coufal, meanwhile, was signed by West Ham under David Moyes in October 2020 and was the side's first-choice right-back up until this season, when he has been overtaken by new signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Fabianski has made over 200 appearances for the Hammers since signing from Swansea in 2018, with the 40-year-old having rotated goalkeeping duties with Alphonse Areola in recent seasons.

Ings, meanwhile, has scored five goals in 69 appearances after arriving from Aston Villa in January 2023.

In a statement published on their official website, West Ham wrote: "The four members of our 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League-winning squad all played their part in one of the most successful periods in West Ham United's history, and will depart having made a combined total of more than 800 first-team appearances between them.

"Everyone at West Ham United would like to sincerely thank Aaron, Lukasz, Vladimir and Danny for their dedicated service to the Club.

"They will depart at the end of the season with our love and appreciation for their contribution during a period that brought memorable success."
