West Ham have now conceded eight goals in their first two Premier League matches this season after their 3-1 loss to Sunderland.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the Chelsea defeat, captain Jarrod Bowen said: "Fuming, disappointed, all the emotions that come off the back of conceding eight goals in two games and not picking up a point yet.
"I think we got ourselves in a really good position at 1-0, and then I just thought the goals were really cheap on our behalf. We didn't make them work from set pieces, which we've always prided ourselves on over the years. We kind of gifted the goals away, and if you do that against any opposition, we learned that against Sunderland and then again tonight.
"When things aren't going well, you have to point the finger at every single person on the pitch. It's a whole. We have to all look at ourselves and take responsibility over where we are right now.

"Football has always been football. Keep it out of your net and score in the other net. Basic football, I don't think we're doing well enough."
