Mohammed Kudus has chosen three legends as his favourite players but selected one of his teammates as the greatest player of all time.

Aside from an underwhelming Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana, Kudus has enjoyed a brilliant season.

The attacker has been among the most impressive Premier League performers this term, having netted nine times and claimed an assist in his 24 appearances for West Ham so far.

And his short time in East London has also seen him gain a particular appreciation for one of his team-mates.

Speaking to GOAL, Kudus was asked quick fire questions regarding who his favourite players were.

When asked the age-old football debate of who he preferred between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the Ghana international opted for the pint-sized Argentinian.

Kudus was then asked to choose between Brazilian tricksters Neymar and Ronaldinho, opting for the latter.

Finally, the West Ham star was made to pick between Kylian Mbappe and Thierry Henry, choosing the Arsenal legend over the Paris Saint-Germain star.

Most surprising, however, was Kudus’ response when asked to select the greatest player of all time. The 23-year-old did not choose Messi, nor did he pick Pele or Diego Maradona.

Instead, Kudus selected West Ham team-mate and England international Jarrod Bowen.

Having operated as a centre-forward this term, Bowen has netted an impressive 11 goals and claimed two assists in his 20 Premier League appearances so far this season.

Such impressive form has seen Bowen awarded with an England recall in October. Of course, the former Hull City star has been helped playing alongside Kudus and Brazil international Lucas Paqueta this season, with the trio having inspired the Hammers to sixth place in the league.

West Ham will look to continue their impressive form this term when they welcome Bournemouth to the London Stadium on Thursday evening.
