Trent Alexander-Arnold's immediate reaction to Brahim Diaz's penalty miss was caught on a live stream.
On Sunday night, the Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal took place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
In the latter stages of the clash, chaos ensued after referee Jean-Jacques Ndala was instructed to review a challenge on Diaz by El Hadji Malick Diouf.
Although it looked like a soft challenge, Ndala gave a penalty, handing Morocco a golden opportunity to win the trophy.

However, clearly angered by the decision, Senegal boss Pape Thiaw sensationally instructed his players to walk off the pitch and return to the dressing room.
After a delay of more than 15 minutes, Senegal star Sadio Mane appeared to persuade his teammates to return.
Real Madrid man Diaz stepped up to take the penalty and decided to chip the ball, which went straight into the gloves of Edouard Mendy.

In extra time, Pape Gueye scored the winner and Senegal held on for a 1-0 victory, winning their second AFCON title.
Following Diaz's penalty miss, Alexander-Arnold's reaction went viral on social media.
The Englishman, who was watching the match on a live stream with his brother, was seen reacting in shock as he leaped out of his chair.
Alexander-Arnold's brother, meanwhile, had his hands over his mouth in disbelief.

Another tweeted: "He had to leave the room."

A third fan added: "He couldn’t believe it!"
Speaking after the match, match-winner Gueye said: "We had a feeling of injustice. Just before the penalty we thought we should have had a goal and the referee didn't go to VAR.
"Sadio [Mane] told us to come back on and we remobilised. Edouard [Mendy] then made the save, we stayed focused, got the goal and won the game."
