Ange Postecoglou visibly cringes as Sky Sports reporter plays 'Happy Days' theme tune in Tottenham press conference

Ange Postecoglou was NOT impressed.

Ange Postecoglou visibly cringed as Gary Cotterill played the 'Happy Days' theme tune during Tottenham's pre-match press conference.

Spurs resume their Premier League campaign on Saturday following their controversial VAR-filled victory over Liverpool.

They travel to Luton and have the chance to go to the top of the table, with Manchester City taking on Arsenal on Sunday.

Sky Sports reporter Cotterill asked Postecoglou about his side potentially moving to the top of the league during his press conference on Friday.

But he didn't just pose the question as he also paid the theme tune to 'Happy Days', leaving the Australian gaffer thoroughly unimpressed.

He shook his head in disbelief and rubbed his face in shock as he was left stunned by Cotterill's stunt. Check it out below:

The Spurs manager was also asked about last weekend's VAR controversy.

Jurgen Klopp called for the league fixture to be replayed, with Postecoglou asked if he would have let Liverpool score had the officials given him the chance to which he replied: "I just don't see that.

"If we want managers to be the arbiters of these kind of things... we've got pretty hefty responsibilities at our football clubs but we're not the custodians.

"I wouldn't make a decision that could potentially send a club down on the back of what my beliefs are."

The 58-year-old added: "In that moment, if somebody could tell me that they could explain everything that went on within the prism of 30 seconds... I have to make a decision and it wasn't going to happen.

"It's different if it's something clear. It was a bad error through a lack of communication but it wasn't something that was easily explainable. If it was easily explainable, I would assume there would have been more uproar than there was."
