Spain's 26-man squad ahead of Euro 2024 has been announced, with three players cut from the provisional team.

On Friday it emerged that Pau Cubarsi, Aleix García and Marcos Llorente had been cut from Spain's squad for Euro 2024.

However, Manager Luis de la Fuente 26-man squad includes the likes of Manchester City midfielder Rodri, Chelsea's Marc Cucurella and on-loan Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.

Despite Cubari's omission, his 16-year-old Barcelona teammate Lamine Yamal has been given the nod while Fermin Lopez and former Newcastle player Ayoze Perez will be going to their first ever major tournament with La Roja.

De la Fuente succeeded Luis Enrique in December 2022 following Spain's World Cup exit against Morocco in the last 16.

He has since led the country to Nations League success in 2023 - their first international trophy for 11 years.

Spain, who won the Euros in 2008 and 2012, find themselves in a 'group of death' with holders Italy, Croatia and Albania.

They begin their tournament on 15 June against Croatia in Berlin.
