On Sunday England take on Spain in their second successive European Championship final and third ever major tournament final.

The Three Lions booked their place in Munich’s showpiece event courtesy of a dramatic 90th-minute Ollie Watkins goal, which helped dispatch the Netherlands 2-1 in Dortmund on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Spain have been the team of the tournament, beating Italy, Germany and France to reach their first major tournament final since Euro 2012.

Ahead of the game, the Stick to Football panel, courtesy of Sky Bet, got together to preview the encounter.

Ex-Lioness Jill Scott asked Gary Neville, Ian Wright and Keane whether they believed any England players would retire should they claim their nation’s first international trophy since 1966 on Sunday.

Neville responded: “I don’t think any player’s near the end are they?”

Roy Keane subsequently quipped, to chuckles of laughter: “[Kobbie] Mainoo maybe? Leave on a high.”

Scott then suggested: “If they win it, how old’s Kyle Walker now?”

Gary Neville: “Oh yeah Kyle. He’d carry on though. You’d get 100 caps.”

Elsewhere, England boss Gareth Southgate said three-time winners Spain are the "favourites" for the final as England's men bid to win their first Euros title.

"They would be rightly favourites for what they have done this tournament. They have been the best team," said Southgate.

“They have got a day longer and in the past three finals, maybe more, it has been quite significant, so we have got to get our recovery spot on.

“Tactically we will have to be perfect as they are such a good side. But, you know, we are here."

Meanwhile, Declan Rice added: "Seeing Italy lift that trophy will haunt me forever.

"We are now presented with another opportunity where we can write our own history but we are up against another top side who we have to massively respect.

"Hopefully now we can do it. Not only for each other but also for the manager. I think he deserves it."
