Brazil legend Ronaldinho has picked out the player that has impressed him the most this season.

Ronaldinho, 45, is one of the finest players of his generation, having represented the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona, AC Milan, Flamengo and Fluminense.

During his illustrious career, the Brazilian won the World Cup and the Champions League among other trophies. He also picked up the prestigious Ballon d'Or award in 2005.

Since retiring, Ronaldinho remains one of the most well-known footballers in the world.

Speaking recently to French news outlet L'Equipe, Ronaldinho was asked to name the players who impressed him the most this season.

The Brazilian replied: "I don't like to compare much. I mainly look at my old teams and those that are still in the Champions League.

"There's Ousmane Dembele at PSG. I like him a lot. He has a slightly Brazilian style! He's disconcerting, he invents, he provokes. He's often unreadable and, what's more, he scores a lot of goals. He's revealing himself, bursting into a different role than he did at PSG last year or at Barcelona before that."

So far this season, Frenchman Ousmane Dembele has been in fine form for PSG, scoring 32 goals and assisting a further eight in 40 appearances across all competitions.

The 27-year-old is set to play a key role for PSG when they take on Premier League side Aston Villa in the quarter-final of the Champions League on Wednesday night at the Parc des Princes.

PSG boss Luis Enrique praised for Ousmane Dembele's fine form

Dembele's upturn in form since the departure of Kylian Mbappe has led to praise being put on PSG boss Luis Enrique.

Montpellier manager Jean-Louis Gasset said: "In Europe, teams can be worried because he's a machine. The coach is having great conversations. Incredible, Dembele at number 9 is the idea of the century, and it all comes down to the coach. Paris seems unbeatable today; they're above everyone else."

PSG are set to win the Ligue 1 title again this season as they currently have a 22-point lead over Marseille at the top of the table.
