Former Liverpool and England star Jamie Carragher has picked out the one team that could stop Real Madrid from winning the UEFA Champions League.

On Tuesday night, the Champions League returned with the round of 16 ties.

The likes of Real, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal were all in action, with the Gunners stealing the show after a massive 7-1 win over PSV Eindhoven.

Meanwhile, the Madrid derby was won by Real, who will take a 2-1 lead into next week's second leg.

After the night's matches were done, Carragher, along with fellow pundit Micah Richards, did their tournament brackets live on CBS Sports.

The former defender predicted Liverpool, Real, Barcelona and Inter Milan to reach the semi-finals.

Carragher then had Madrid to beat Liverpool and Barcelona to get the better of Inter.

Speaking about the final, Carragher said: "A Clasico final! Even though Barcelona have got the better of Real Madrid a lot this season. I am going go for the winners, Real Madrid."

After Carragher, Richards, Peter Schmeichel and presenter Kate Scott also made their predictions. You can watch the full segment below.

Speaking after the first leg victory, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti said: "It was a difficult game as usual. It always is against Atleti. In the first half we lost too many balls. We had unnecessary losses. Julián scored. In the second half we were better. We were able to get the lead again and we held on.

"The initial plan was to play on the wings, with Vini and Rodrygo. It went well in the first play and then we lost patience. We worked, we had control of the game. We pushed hard. But it was not the idea to press, but to be compact. And the team was compact throughout the game.”
