Raphinha has reacted to being left out of the 2025 FIFPRO Men’s World XI by posting a series of social media posts, including a graphic showing his record across the 2024-25 campaign.
The 28-year-old was one of Barcelona's standout performers last season as they completed a domestic treble. In total, he scored 34 goals in 57 games as they won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Supercopa.
But despite his best efforts, the Brazil international missed out on the FIFPRO team of the year following votes from more than 26,000 professional footballers representing 68 countries worldwide.
Each player selected three standout performers in the four positional categories – goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward.

The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders, and three forwards with the most votes earned a place in the team, while the 11th spot went to the next highest-ranked outfield player overall.

Gianluigi Donnarumma, who signed for Manchester City from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, came out on top in the goalkeeping department, while Virgil van Dijk, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes made up a solid back three.
Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer, Pedri and Vitinha took their place in a star-studded midfield behind Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, who became the youngest player ever to be selected for the Men’s World XI.

Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembele and fellow countryman Kylian Mbappe completed the line-up.
After failing to make the line-up, Raphinha shared more than 15 posts recognising some of his accomplishments from last season.
The former Leeds forward touched on his impressive goals and assists record for Barcelona, as mentioned above, and also posted about being the joint highest goalscorer in last season's Champions League with 13 goals.

He also pointed out that he won La Liga's Player of the Season award in 2024-25.
