British journalist Piers Morgan has made a rather outrageous claim about the Beckham family following their feud with son Brooklyn.
Last week, the Beckham family were the subject of media attention after 26-year-old Brooklyn released a scathing statement about his parents, David and Victoria.
During the statement, the Cloud 23 owner confirmed rumours of a family feud and suggested that his parents had treated his wife, Nicola Peltz, with disrespect.
He also suggested that his mother sabotaged his first dance with his wife before “dancing inappropriately” in front of guests.

Brooklyn made clear that he does “not want to reconcile” with his family and said he was “standing up” for himself for the “first time” in his life.
The 26-year-old also claimed that his parents were “adamant” about him signing away the rights to his name before the wedding.

"My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one,” Brooklyn claimed. “My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.”
He added: “My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.
“Family "love" is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations.”
Neither David nor Victoria have fully addressed the statement, although the former did say that “you have to let your children make mistakes” when he spoke on CNBC’s financial program Squawk Box last week, without directly addressing the matter.
As expected, members of the public and media have also waded in with their thoughts, with journalist Morgan describing the Beckham’s as “narcissistic PR-obsessed twerps” on social media on January 20.
Morgan offered his thoughts on the Beckham family once more on January 27 when speaking on his YouTube channel, ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’.
“My take is this: the Beckhams, led by the parents, if David and Victoria could pre-emptively sell their death to Netflix for a 10-part series and bring the kids into it, they would," Morgan said.
"They are the single most commercial money-grabbers I’ve ever seen in the history of celebrity, and that bar is very high.”
Morgan then described the family as “utterly shameless”, citing the fact that they have sold several events – such as weddings and christenings – to media outlets.
Despite his negative take on David and Victoria, 60-year-old Morgan also slated Brooklyn, suggesting the statement showed “entitlement” from “a boy that’s had the silver spoon since the day he was born”.
Morgan then suggested that Brooklyn calls himself a chef despite making sandwiches while also speaking negatively about his ability as a photographer.
The presenter also compared Brooklyn’s feud with his family to that of Prince Harry and the Royals.
