Pep Guardiola says he 'knows what happened' during the furious altercation between Kyle Walker and Arsenal's set-piece coach following the final whistle.

Walker and Nicolos Jover clashed on the sideline after Arsenal beat Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday.

Gabriel Martinelli's deflected strike in the 86th minute secured the club's first Premier League win over Man City since 2015.

Emotions boiled over at the end of Arsenal vs Man City as Erling Haaland backed Walker in his exchange with Jover.

Arsenal fans also spotted Ben White ruthlessly trolling Jack Grealish.

After the result, Guardiola shared his thoughts on Walker and Jover's bust-up, claiming he 'knows what happened' but doesn't want to say anything. Check it out below:

"I know what happened, but I don't want to say anything. They know it," he said in his post-match press conference.

Asked if he was happy with Arsenal's conduct following the final whistle, he replied: "Yeah, absolutely."

On the way the game played out, the Man City boss added: "We started really well with two or three chances. They started the second half really well with the rhythm. Then it was tight and they got a deflection goal. They won, congratulations to them. We tried. We did it.

"From both sides there wasn’t a lot of chances. Both did good high pressing. It was tight. In the end, one action, we lost. Ten minutes was Arsenal on top and after, equal. We had our moments but in general it was tight. Unfortunately they did it..."

The Blues have now lost back-to-back league games, having lost to Wolves last month.

They occupy third place in the table and resume their league campaign following the international break against Brighton.
