People are absolutely shocked as they have just found out that Paul Merson does NOT support Arsenal.
Merson spent 12 years at Arsenal, making over 300 appearances as he enjoyed a prolific spell at the club.
He won two Football League First Division titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his time with the Gunners.
'The Magic Man' is still adored among the Arsenal fanbase, but some fans online are stunned at who he supports.

Despite his stint with Arsenal, he doesn't support the North London outfit.
Merson is actually a Chelsea fan. He took to social media to show his support for the Blues ahead of their Premier League game against Burnley on Saturday.
Taking to X, he posted a picture of himself from the Sky Sports studio, accompanied with the caption: "Come on you blues."
Supporters online couldn't believe Merson isn't an Arsenal fan.
One X user wrote: "Paul Merson not being an Arsenal fan has completely spun me."
A second tweeted: "I thought he was an Arsenal fan."
A third commented: "I'm today years old finding out this arsenal legend supports Chelsea. my head is on mars."
A Chelsea fan added: "An Arsenal legend being this openly Chels, love Merse."
Another questioned: "Isn't he an Arsenal fan?"
Merson, who was involved in a heated discussion with Mike Dean over last weekend's VAR controversy between Tottenham and Liverpool, watched his team beat Burnley on Gillette Soccer Saturday.
Chelsea came from behind to beat Vincent Kompany's team 4-1, with Ameen Al-Dakhil (OG), Cole Palmer, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson all getting on the score-sheet at Turf Moor.
