Neymar did not hesitate when asked to rank himself, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in a game that got very interesting.

In an interview with Pingpong.com, the Brazil star took part in a rapid fire "winners stays on" where he had to pick between some of the very best players ever to play the game.

It started off with Thierry Henry against Arjen Robben, with the former getting the nod.

But then when paired against current France star and Neymar's former teammate Kylian Mbappe, he went for Real Madrid's new signing.

Mbappe came out on top against Ousmane Dembele, Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish but then Neymar picked his compatriot Ronaldinho when it came down to it.

He struggled immensely when he could only choose one of Ronaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, ultimately opting for the latter.

The Al Hilal star had to answer the age old debate of Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi but he was always going to side with his old Barca and PSG colleague.

And he puts the the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner on such a pedestal that he even, without any hesitation whatsoever, selected Messi over himself for the final question in the bracket.

Neymar is Brazil's record goalscorer with 79 goals to his name and in the peak of his powers, was widely seen as the third best player behind Messi and Ronaldo.

He finished third in the Ballon d'Or rankings on two occasions in 2015 and 2017 but now, plying in Saudi Arabia at 32, many feel as though he did not fulfil his potential.

But in a new interview, England star Bukayo Saka recently claimed that Neymar deserves more respect.

Asked who is the most underrated footballer, he told talkSPORT: "I've got to say Neymar, you know.

"I think people talk about it, but I think he should be talked about more. He deserves more respect than he gets. Personally, that's what I feel."
