Manchester United fans have spoken out in agreement about one thing following the 2-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

On Boxing Day, United suffered their third consecutive loss during the 2-0 match against Wolves at the Molineux Stadium.

The result marks the fifth defeat in 10 matches in all competitions under new boss Ruben Amorim, the worst record since Walter Crickmer in January 1932.

And now, United fans have taken to social media to speak out about one thing that they noticed during the latest loss in the Premier League.

Immediately after the match, journalist Samuel Luckhurst posted a video of United players and staff bizarrely standing still in front of the away end for several minutes.

Reacting to the clip. one fan wrote: "just like they did for 90 minutes today on the pitch, standing motionless.

Another agreed, writing: "Motionless during and after the game."

While one joked: "More movement from Hojlund there than during the match"

The result leaves United 14th in the Premier League table, 11 points away from the top four and just eight points from the relegation zone.

In their least seven Premier League matches, United have won only two, while drawing one and losing the other four.

“I manage but I didn’t train [the players],” said Amorim after the loss to Wolves.

“They need time to train, they are completely changing the way of playing, it is really hard on them and for the staff to pass on all the information. When you don’t have results, it’s even harder for them to believe.

“In this moment we just have to survive and to win some time to work on the team. It is a long journey.

"We have to continue to fight these bad moments. We need time to work. We also have to win games to sell the idea to the players. If not, it is really hard.”

When asked whether he felt that United still had a chance of qualifying for European football, the 39-year-old replied: “We have to work on a lot of things in our club, inside the pitch, outside the pitch, so let’s focus on each game, each time.

"We have to use every minute of training and to improve the team.”

In their next Premier League match, United will welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford on New Year's Eve.
