Manchester United fans have called on the club to make one key signing after Altay Bayindir's disaster during the clash with Arsenal.
On Sunday evening, Arsenal travelled to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in what was undoubtedly the most anticipated match of the Premier League opening weekend.
Despite entering the match as massive underdogs, United held their own for most of the match, with new signings Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko all impressing.
However, their surprisingly promising performance was not enough to come away from the match with three points, as a goal from Riccardo Calafiori sealed a win for the visitors.

And in the wake of the narrow loss, United fans have taken to social media to demand that the club sign a new goalkeeper to replace Bayindir.

Ahead of the match, United manager Ruben Amorim confirmed that Bayindir had been selected for the match based on merit, despite the fact that Andre Onana was fit and available for selection.
But it appears United fans don't necessarily believe that the Turkish keeper is ready to start for the club, after he was deemed to be at fault for Arsenal's winning goal.

And they made sure to make this feeling known on social media, as they demanded that United immediately go to the transfer market and explore a deal for Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
Reacting to Bayindir's performance, one United fan wrote on X: "Utd's achilles' heel is the goalkeeper, whether Onana or Bayindir. Raya just showed how to deal with a corner. Go and get Lammens."
While another added: "If we are not getting Baleba, a move for Lammens needed to happen 2 weeks ago (even without Baleba). Onana and Bayindir are dire."
And one suggested that the club should sell both Bayindir and Onana, writing: "I just don’t understand why we don’t sell both Onana and Bayindir and then get Donnarumma and Lammens. Perfect replacements."

Lammens made 44 appearances for Royal Antwerp in all competitions last season, keeping 10 clean sheets.
Some reports have claimed that United have already talks over a potential move for the 23-year-old this summer, with a deal believed to be possible for around £17million and minimal wages.
But Lammens isn't the only goalkeeper that has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, as Paris Saint-Germain's Gianluigi Donnarumma could also join United after confirming he was leaving the French champions this summer.
