Scott McTominay has stunned Manchester United fans with how he enjoyed Napoli's Serie A title parade after a dream first season.

The Scotland international signed for the Naples outfit for a fee of £25.7 million in a move which former United boss Erik ten Hag did not want to allow but was ultimately powerless.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a sensational debut campaign with Napoli, immediately receiving legendary status from supporters after scoring 12 goals and assisting another six in 34 appearances as Antonio Conte's men won a fourth league title in the club's history.

McTominay broke the deadlock with a stunning acrobatic volley in the title decider, before Romelu Lukaku sealed the title with a second goal against Cagliari.

Fans in Naples celebrated wildly after the historic triumph and the party kept rolling on with an open-top bus parade through the streets.

McTominay, having picked up the Serie A MVP award, was front and centre on the bus.

The United academy graduate did not enjoy a parade at United despite winning the Carabao Cup and FA Cup but he made up for it with Napoli.

Fans were in disbelief to see McTominay letting his hair down in a big way.

One supporter on X commented: "Never knew he was this cold."

A second joked: "They teaching him bad things In Italy."

A third added: "That’s next season's tifo sorted."

A fourth wrote: "Man like Scotty. Living his best life."

McTominay and compatriot Billy Gilmour have become the first Scots to win the league in 120 years since Jack Diment and James Squair with Juventus back in 1905.

He and his Napoli teammates will be playing in the Champions League next season, though manager Conte's future is still up in the air - with the Italian discussing his future with owner Aurelio De Laurentiis.

After sinking to the turf in tears at the achievement, McTominay reflected on stunning first season and told DAZN: "The sacrifice of every single player in this group is just incredible. The people deserve it, as they’ve been behind us from day one. For me to come here and experience this, it’s just a dream.”
