Marcus Rashford's stance on a potential return to Manchester United upon the conclusion of his loan spell at Barcelona has emerged.
Rashford is spending the campaign on loan at the Camp Nou, with the La Liga club having an option to purchase the England international at the end of the season for a reported fee of €30 million.
The 28-year-old came through the youth team ranks at United and has scored 138 goals in 426 appearances for his boyhood club in all competitions.
However, Rashford has not featured on the pitch for United since mid-December 2024 after he fell out of favour under now former United boss Ruben Amorim.

Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, and was part of a so-called 'bomb squad' at United last summer which apparently did not have a future at the club.
This group of players also included Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia and trained away from the main squad.
Garnacho and Antony secured permanent exits to Chelsea and Real Betis respectively, while Sancho headed on loan to Villa, though Malacia stayed and has since been reintegrated into the first-team squad.
Rashford, meanwhile, has featured regularly for Barca and scored 10 goals in 32 appearances for the Catalan giants.

He has also claimed silverware at Barca in the form of this season's Supercopa de Espana, adding to the two FA Cups, pair of League Cups and the Europa League which he has won at United.
Since Rashford left United on loan, there has been a change in the dugout after Amorim was sacked and Michael Carrick has been installed as head coach until the end of the season.
Carrick played with Rashford towards the end of the former's playing career after the latter made his debut in 2016.
According to a report in the Telegraph, Carrick is keen to keep Rashford at United - if the retired midfielder remains in the Old Trafford dugout permanently.
But Rashford himself is said to be happy with his new life at Barcelona and concentrating fully on his future in Catalonia, instead of Manchester.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel: "For Marcus Rashford, there’s no obligation to buy, it’s a loan with a buy option for €30 million. This is the fee in case Barcelona decide to sign Rashford in the summer of 2026.
"So Rashford is doing very well, a very good impact, and it’s still the beginning. It’s just two months into his new chapter at Barcelona. So Rashford is very happy with the situation.
"I can tell you that Rashford is very happy with the city, with the league, with the club, with the manager, and with the teammates.
"Rashford loves his new life at Barcelona. And so Rashford is fully focused on Barca, not even thinking about the Manchester United return from the loan and maybe make it again at United one day. The full focus is on Barcelona."
