Marcus Rashford has made a bombshell transfer decision just five games into his loan move at Aston Villa.

Rashford found himself out of favour at Manchester United under Ruben Amorim, who was unimpressed by his training levels and proceeded to omit him from matchday squads.

After expressing his interest in embarking on a new challenge away from his boyhood club, Rashford was linked with a whole host of European clubs.

But Villa moved for the 27-year-old and allowed the opportunity to continue playing in the Premier League and also return to the Champions League with a loan deal until the end of the season.

He took the No.9 shirt vacated by Jhon Duran following his £62.5 million move to Al Nassr and has made five appearances for Unai Emery's side, registering two assists in the comeback win over Chelsea.

Rashford's United deal expires in 2028 but the chances of him returning to the club while Amorim is in charge look incredibly slim.

And according to The Sun, Rashford is prepared to make his move to Villa permanent after feeling "revitalised" in new surroundings.

He has made a huge impression on his teammates manager and fans at Villa Park and his effort in training has not gone unnoticed following the claims made by Amorim.

It has been reported that Villa have the option to buy Rashford for a fee of £40 million, a sum which count as pure profit for United on the balance sheet due to his homegrown status.

Rashford is still searching his first goal in Villa colours but has looked sharp whenever he's taken to the pitch and is hopeful of forcing his way back into the England squad with a fresh start under new boss Thomas Tuchel.

Rashford's most international appearance came against Brazil just over a year ago when he reached 60 caps for the Three Lions.

Rashford rule enforced at Villa

According to the Daily Mail, discussion about Rashford from teammates has effectively been banned. In the recent 2-2 draw with Liverpool, Youri Tielemans was asked for his thoughts on Rashford's first start in the mixed zone

However, a press officer interjected and told journalists that there would be 'no questions on Rashford'.
