Marcus Rashford has been linked with a shock move to a Saudi Arabian club after falling out of favour at Manchester United.
Rashford, 27, was left out of United’s matchday squad for the 2-1 win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
When asked why he left Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of the 20-man squad for the trip to United’s city rivals, United boss Ruben Amorim insisted it was down to “selection”

"We try to evaluate everything - training, performance, game performance, engagement with the teammates, push the teammates up,” he said.
"Everything is on the line when we analyse and try to choose the players, so it was my selection. Simple.
"I don't want to send a message (to the dressing room with this). It's simply an evaluation, and they know it.

"The players are really, really smart, and so everybody understands my decision, and I have to choose. It's just a simple selection.
"Of course, the context is difficult - we have to win games, and we have a difficult situation now.
"But, like I said, I pay attention to everything - the way you eat, the way you put on your clothes to go the game. Everything.
"I make my evaluation, and then I have to decide. I have a lot of players to choose (from), and today, I did my choice."

Earlier last week, reports in The Telegraph suggested that United are “concerned about Rashford’s lifestyle off the pitch, and he is no longer as focused on football as he should”.
He has previously been linked with a move to PSG. But a new contender to sign the England international has emerged.
According to talkSPORT, Al-Ittihad, managed by former United defender Laurent Blanc, have been “put on alert” following Rashford’s omission from Amorim’s squad.

The report suggested “United are open to offers”, but “Rashford is reluctant to leave his boyhood club as he harbours hopes of earning an England recall for the 2026 World Cup, senior figures at United feel a parting of the ways would be best for both parties.”
The 27-year-old is contracted to the club until June 2028, having signed a new five-year deal in the summer of 2023.
If he were to make the switch to Al-Ittihad, he would become teammates with former Premier League stars N’Golo Kante, Fabinho and Moussa Diaby, as well as ex-Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.
