Man Utd taking matters into their own hands to force through Sofyan Amrabat deal

Amrabat has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Manchester United are taking matters into their own hands in an attempt to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Erik ten Hag has already signed Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund and most recently goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, who completed his move from Fenerbahce.

But the Red Devils boss is keen to add a midfielder to his ranks and has identified Amrabat as his priority target before Friday's transfer deadline.

And according to David Ornstein of The Athletic, United’s director of football negotiations, Matt Hargreaves, has flown to Italy to try and complete a deal for the 27-year-old.
