Manchester United have reached an agreement for their first summer transfer, reports claim.
United's manager for the summer window is not yet clear, with Michael Carrick staking his claim to take the job on a permanent basis following an impressive run which has seen United climb to third after the sacking of Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils are in a strong position to return to the Champions League next season and already there is a news of a new arrival at United when pre-season rolls around.
As per the Manchester Evening News, United have an initial agreement to bring in Colombian defensive midfielder Cristian Orozoco.

Because he is still only 17, Orozoco cannot officially leave current club Fortaleza CEIF until he turns 18. He reaches that important milestone in on 13 July, when he is eligible to sign for the 13-time Premier League winners.
United are paying around £750,000 to acquire and see him as a player for the future.

However, United are also desperate to bring in ready-made players ready to slot straight into their first-team. The report adds that United are poised to be busy in the transfer market, with a young left-back, left winger and two central midfielders at the top of their list of priorities.
Elliott Anderson's name continues to be linked with United after his brilliant displays for Nottingham Forest and England, whom he is expected to start for at the 2026 World Cup.
He is said to be valued at around £80 million and that fee could increase following on from the tournament. Anderson said that he is not thinking about his future.
Elsewhere, Newcastle pair Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes have also been linked.
In a surprise move, Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly is reportedly been tracked by United. The 19-year-old was a revelation in a stunning breakthrough season in 2024/25, producing a fine performance against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu and scoring on his England debut.
But he has found opportunities hard to come by this season, with Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie ahead of him in the pecking order at left-back.
United are back in action on 13 April when they host Leeds United at Old Trafford.
