Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has already followed instructions from manager Erik ten Hag amid supporter calls for him to be given more game time at Old Trafford.

United have several wide players currently on their books at first team level, but several of them have been unavailable for a range of different reasons during the season.

At the end of September, with Antony and Jadon Sancho not involved with the first team and Amad Diallo recovering from a knee injury, Pellistri was United's only fully fit and available right-sided winger.

That Ten Hag selected the Uruguayan to start three games during that month was seemingly largely down to necessity, with the 21-year-old playing just once for United since a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on September 30.

United fans have called on the Dutchman to select Pellistri more often, especially given the poor form of Antony since his return to the first team.

The former Ajax winger hasn't contributed a goal or assist in 12 matches for the club this season, and supporters want to see Pellistri given his chance.

Speaking ahead of the Uruguay winger's last start against Palace, Ten Hag was asked by Premier League Productions to describe what he wanted to see from the starlet during the game (quotes via Manchester Evening News): "A little bit similar from his appearance in the last game.

"He is quick, speedy and he's also a good dribbler. He is reliable and I hope he can transfer his threat into assists and goals."

Pellistri certainly checked off the latter option during his 28-minute substitute appearance in a 1-0 win over Fulham earlier this month.

After replacing Antony on the right side of attack, he played the ball back to captain Bruno Fernandes before the Portugal star fired home to secure a much-needed victory for United.

And on international duty with Uruguay this month, he started the 3-0 win over Brazil and provided the assist for Darwin Nunez's opening goal on 15 minutes.

As far as strong messages go ahead of United's Premier League clash against Everton on Sunday, Pellistri has certainly sent one to Ten Hag with his most recent performances.
