A 'private moment' between Erik ten Hag and Bruno Fernandes has gone viral, with Manchester United fans loving it.

Man United came from behind to beat Aston Villa 3-2 at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.

Alejandro Garnacho bagged a stunning brace as Rasmus Hojlund netted his side's winner, scoring his first Premier League goal in the process.

While he didn't get on the score-sheet, Fernandes starred in the middle of the park as he inspired Man United's fight back.

Ten Hag seemingly appreciated his star midfielder's performance against Villa judging by a video that has surfaced online following Tuesday's result.

The footage shows the Dutch boss in 'deep discussion' with the Portuguese international in the tunnel as they shared a warm embrace.

Man United fans online loved the exchange between the club's manager and captain.

One X user wrote: "Some said he’s not the manager to bring us to the top."

A second tweeted: "Apparently he had lost 50% of the dressing room."

A third added: "SAF and Roy vibes."

Another commented: "Ten hag’s got so much faith in him, Bruno’s his golden boy!"

After the match, Ten Hag revealed what he said to his players at half-time before they completed a stunning comeback.

"The atmosphere changed a lot from the first half to the second, but if you look at the first half you are losing because of two set plays, in moments where we were not so focused," he told Amazon Prime.

"I think already in the first half we played quite well, and kept trying and trying. At half-time I said to the team, 'keep believing, and keep doing what we did, actually do even more'."

The Red Devils climbed above West Ham United to sixth place, with 31 points on the board.

They resume their league campaign on Saturday when they travel to Nottingham Forest.
