Manchester United fans are all blaming one man for their humiliating defeat to Bournemouth.

The Red Devils were ruthlessly beaten 3-0 by 13th-placed Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, with fans left in disbelief at full-time.

Goals from Dominic Solanke, Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi sealed all three points for the Cherries, extending their unbeaten run to five games in the Premier League.

And despite a number of below par performances from the players, many fans have placed the blame at Erik ten Hag's door.

Taking to social media, fans took the chance to express their disappointment in the Dutchman's tactical decisions during the 90 minutes.

One person tweeted: "Said it before but the most frustrating part is that I KNOW Ten Hag can cultivate sustainable, elite-level football. Some of his decisions can only be explained by self-sabotage. Baffling."

Another wrote: "This is a dark day for Erik ten Hag & Manchester United.. a dark, dark day. It's hard to put it into words, although what I will say is that the biggest reason United lost today is because of ten Hag's haphazard tactics. The psychological state of the group is a real mess now.."

While a third chimed in: "Ten Hag it’s on you. It’s the basics.

"1. obvious Reguilon & Shaw were not working, yet you don’t change it and let it run and we get punished.

"2. Not subbing Bruno when the game is gone and if he gets booked he’s out it Liverpool, pure stupidity.

"3. How is it every time this team goes behind we just give up?"

Do you think Ten Hag should stay as Manchester United manager? Let us know in the comments.
