Manchester United fans are raging over VAR's decision to disallow Jonny Evans' goal against Burnley, referencing a controversial moment during a Manchester City game earlier this season,
Evans thought he had given his side the lead when he headed home from a corner.
VAR, however, ruled out the goal as officials adjudged Rasmus Hojlund to be in an offside position.

He was stood in front of goalkeeper James Trafford, but Man United supporters online weren't happy with the call.
They brought up Nathan Ake's controversial header against Fulham earlier this month.
VAR failed to rule out the goal despite Manuel Akanji being in an offside position and seemingly blocking Bernd Leno's view.

In reference to Man City's goal, one X user wrote: "Stay incompetent and inconsistent @FA_PGMOL."
A second tweeted: "Notice how they didn’t even use an angle from behind or Infront? How can you determine he’s blocking line of sight from sideways on."
A third added: "It’s a goal for city but offside for Man United."
A fourth said: "Honestly we can't get a f*cking break from VAR. Every single thing goes against us. Everything. Not criticising the decision. But we can't catch a break."

Another commented: " Nathan Ake's goal vs Fulham is similar to Jonny Evans vs Burnley. Manuel Akanji was in a similar position like Rasmus Hojlund. But Man City's goal stands but Man United's is ruled out by VAR. No consistency at all."
