A compilation of Lisandro Martinez's performance in Argentina's opening game of the Copa America has gone viral, and Manchester United fans can't wait for the start of the season.
Argentina got off to a perfect start at the Copa America as they beat Canada 2-0 to put themselves top of the group, with goals from Lautaro Martinez and Julian Alvarez.
The game wasn't without controversy however with the second half being delayed due to the Argentina players being significantly late to the field.

Newly appointed Canada boss, Jesse Marsch, was less than happy with the situation considering both goals came after the break, and demanded Argentina be punished for their antics.
“They should be fined for coming out 20 minutes late for the second half," the former Leeds boss explained.
“How late were they? You guys? 20 minutes? 30? I don’t know. It was a long time. But they had that time to prepare how they wanted to play against us in the second half, which if we would have known ahead of time that we could have an extra 10 minutes then we could have prepared some things more."

Controversy aside it was an impressive performance from the World Cup winners, with Lionel Messi looking as sharp as ever and Man United defender Lisandro Martinez putting in a great display.

Martinez endured an injury-riddled season at Old Trafford but when available he continues to be the shining light at the back for Erik ten Hag.

The 26-year-old only made 11 Premier League appearances last season but has managed to work his way back to fitness for the conclusion of last campaign.
Martinez started the FA Cup final win against Man City and looks to be carrying the winning touch to the national team as Argentina look to go back to back to back at international tournaments.
The form and fitness of the defender will be crucial for United next season on the left of the defence, particularly as speculation grows that the club aren't going to be able to sign Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
