Jadon Sancho was quick to do one thing after transferring to new club Chelsea this summer, and Manchester United fans are not happy.

Sancho completed a move from United to Chelsea on deadline day, joining on loan until the end of the season in a deal that also includes an obligation to buy the forward for between £20-25m next summer.

The Englishman joined United from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in July 2021 for a reported fee of £71million, but struggled to find regular minutes at the Manchester club after he reportedly fell out with manager Erik ten Hag.

But it is his latest action after leaving the Red Devils that has Manchester United fans taking to social media in anger.

In January, Sancho went back to former club Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season and upon doing so, he immediately changed on photos on his social media to pictures of him at the German club.

When returning to United this summer, the 24-year-old chose not to change his photos back but, within minutes of his move to Chelsea being announced, he once again ensured all images on social media reflected his new club, and United fans are not happy.

Posting on X, one frustrated fan wrote, "He knows exactly what he's doing, I'm glad the b******* who supported him at the detriment of the coach and club can now see how stupid they've been."

Another added: "Couldn't change the profile picture fast enough, he never wanted to come back."

While one confessed: "I was rooting but this boy, it seemed he genuinely disliked the club as this latest move has shown. It’s disappointing."

Speaking in his first interview as a Chelsea player, Sancho told the club website what convinced him to make the move.

He said: "I’m really excited to be here. London is where I grew up and I’m happy to be back.

"The manager spoke to me about the project and, for a young player, it's exciting. Hopefully I can bring goals and assists to the Bridge.

"Chelsea is iconic. My idols growing up were Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and now I have the opportunity to play for this club like them. It’s a great feeling."
