Man United fans want player axed immediately after watching him against Fulham

Manchester United fans have already had enough of one player after their poor performance in the first half of the FA Cup clash with Fulham.

On Sunday afternoon, United welcomed Premier League rivals Fulham to Old Trafford for the penultimate match of the fifth round of the FA Cup.

As the two sides returned to the changing room at half-time, it was Fulham that boasted the lead thanks to a late goal from Calvin Bassey.

And after falling behind at home, United fans have swarmed to social media to demand that one player be replaced in the second half due to their performance in the match so far.

Although a squad of 20 players could be named, only 18 players were on United's teamsheet on Sunday with several players out of the match.

One of the players forced to miss the FA Cup clash was second choice goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, with young goalkeepers William Stephen Murdock and Hubert Graczyk instead named.

Despite this, United fans have demanded Andre Onana be taken off the pitch before the second half.

Reacting to the match, one fan wrote: "How has onana dropped the most simplest of crosses ever, no one is even near him or bumps into him but he still spills it. Get this man out."

Another simply wrote: "Onana has to be replaced ASAP!"

While one called out both Onana and two of his United teammates, writing: "I've seen enough of Rasmus Hojlund to last me a lifetime. Get him off the pitch ASAP.

"Onana, too. He clearly makes his defence nervous. Dalot...I could go on."

Bayindir has been absent from United's last four games after sustaining an undisclosed injury before the FA Cup win over Leicester City last month.

The former Fenerbahce keeper played a key part in United's FA Cup run this season after putting in a heroic performance during the third round win over Arsenal in January.

Meanwhile Onana has struggled in recent matches for United, leading to many fans calling for the Cameroon international to be displaced by Bayindir upon his return, with some suggesting the club must sign a new keeper in the summer.
