Viral Man Utd Fan Confirms Plan for West Ham Game

Frank Illet has revealed what he plans to do as United chase their fifth consecutive win.

Frank Ilet, the viral Manchester United fan waiting to cut his hair, has revealed his plans for the upcoming match against West Ham United.

On Tuesday evening, United have the chance to secure one of their most important wins of the season as they face West Ham United in a Premier League clash in London.

After picking up wins over Manchester City, Arsenal, Fulham and now, Tottenham Hotspur, United have extended their win streak to four in a row.

Although this news is of course great for all United fans, as it significantly boosts the club's chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season, it's even better for viral fan Illet.

And now, with Ilet just one win away from finally being able to cut his hair, he's released a statement confirming his plans for the upcoming match.

In October 2024, Ilet visited his barber for the last time as he began the now viral challenge of waiting until United win five in a row before next getting a haircut.

Tuesday night will be the first time since starting the challenge that United have the chance to win their fifth consecutive game, and Ilet has revealed exactly what he'll be doing during the match.

Speaking on Instagram after the win over Spurs, he said: "Carrick is at the wheel, this hair is going soon. West Ham next, four out of five done.

"This is the first time it's been four in a row since I started the challenge. This time is happening. Thank you so much to Carrick, thank you, thank you, thank you.

"There will be a watch along for the fifth game against West Ham, some exciting plans coming up, more details to come."

Tuesday's match with West Ham United will mark 493 days since Ilet's last hair cut, but it's far from certain that United will finally get their fifth win as the Hammers appear to be finally finding some form in recent matches.

In their last four games in all competitions, West Ham United have won all but one, with their sole loss being the 3-2 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

And with Nuno Espírito Santo's side boasting a 2-0 lead over Burnley at half-time, it appears likely that they will add a further win to their tally as they fight to remain in the Premier League.
