Manchester United remain active in the transfer market and one young fan took his chance to ask Erik ten Hag directly for a new signing.
United have already added two new players to their squad in Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee with more deals expected before the end of the window.
Ten Hag’s men are believed to have agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte but the two teams are yet to agree a transfer fee for the ex-Sporting Lisbon midfielder.

United continue to be linked with a number of names and are believed to still in be the market for a centre-back despite fending off competition from Liverpool and Real Madrid to secure the signature of Yoro from Lille.
Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite was a target for Ten Hag but Everton have not budged on their £70m valuation of the England international and have rejected multiple bids for their prized asset.
Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt is another name on United’s shortlist and a young fan took his chance to ask Ten Hag directly for an update on their pursuit of the Dutchman.

He asked: “Erik, when is De Ligt coming?”
Ten Hag’s response gave nothing away but sparked mass reaction on social media, he replied: “You want him?”
Reacting to the video, one fan said: “Imagine the depth at the back we’d have if we sign him.”
Another fan said: “I love what I'm hearing”

A third added: “We are 100% getting De Ligt”
A fourth said: “can’t wait for him as well. He will help Yoro develop so well.”
It was initially reported that signing Yoro might have ended United’s interest in signing the former Ajax defender but Ten Hag confirmed earlier this week the deal could still be done.

He also claimed it was a complete “coincidence” that United continue to be linked with players from the Netherlands.
“It remains to be seen whether De Ligt will come,” Ten Hag told AD Sportwereld.
“I know Matthijs well and I will not deny that.
“I wanted to sign him two years ago but at that time, he was already very far along to join Bayern Munich (from Juventus) but believe it or not, his name did not come from me in the process (of targeting signings).”
