Manchester United fans have criticised Diogo Dalot for comments made about teenager Shea Lacey after the Red Devils' defeat by Brighton and Hove Albion.
On Sunday evening, United's quest for a trophy went up in smoke as they were knocked out of the FA Cup at the third round stage by Brighton.
Goals from Brajan Gruda and Danny Welbeck made it 2-0 before Benjamin Sesko scored in the 85th minute to set up a tense finish.
However, young star Lacey, who was brought on in the second half, received his marching orders after being booked in the 87th and 89th minutes.

The 18-year-old was given his second yellow card after throwing the ball down in frustration following a foul. United eventually lost the match 2-1.
Speaking afterwards, Dalot said: "[It has been] really difficult. It's always a period that you have to find ways to solve problems really quickly. We have to adapt and go again.
"[But] then the red card gave us a disadvantage because we were on top of Brighton in the last moments. Overall, very disappointed because we wanted to go through. All the lads kept trying to find spaces, like I said, really disappointed because I think we deserved to win."

Reacting to Dalot's comments, United fans criticised him for 'throwing Lacey under the bus'.
One fan said: "Lol.. Let's blame it on the kid who got a red card in the closing stages of the game.. Dalot has absolutely no accountability."
Another tweeted: "Yeah blame the young boy. Focus on your defending mate and stop thinking your Mo Salah making inverted runs. Do your job and behave."
A third fan added: "Diogo Dalot throwing Shea Lacey under the bus. This is a really poor thing to do, instead of being accountable for his own performance, the early chances missed, that god awful attempt at a backheel."

The teenager wrote: "I want to apologise to all of my teammates staff and the fans [sad pensive face emoji]. I let everybody down tonight I shouldn't let my emotions get the better of me I will do everything I can to make this right [praying emoji]."
Meanwhile, Lacey's brother, Paddy, said: "Keep your chin up my little bro, passion sometimes boils over but without it you wouldn’t be the player you are. Let the setbacks fuel the fire."
