A Manchester United fan pleaded with Bruno Fernandes to persuade a transfer target to come to Old Trafford in January.
Man United beat Newcastle United 1-0 on Boxing Day to return to the win column following last weekend's 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa.
Patrick Dorgu scored the game's only goal as he volleyed home in the 24th minute.
At the start of the match, Man United set up with a back four before Ruben Amorim deployed a back six to fend off Newcastle's threat.

Amorim made a series of changes throughout the league fixture, including the substitutions of Jack Fletcher, son of Darren Fletcher, Tyrell Malacia and Tyler Fredricson, leaving Gary Neville confused over the 'bizarre' shape.
"I thought Manchester United edged the first half," he said on Sky Sports commentary. "I thought they did really well, but then the substitutions came. The shape, the players on the pitch got even more bizarre, but they hung on."

Amorim appears to have a selection headache given regular starters Amad Diallo, Bryan Mbeumo and Noussair Mazraoui have all departed for the Africa Cup of Nations, not to mention the injuries of Kobbie Mainoo and Fernandes, who pulled up with a hamstring issue against Villa.
He could look to delve into the market when it reopens in the new year to reinforce his squad ahead of the second half of the season.
Several players have been linked with a move to Man United in January, including Fernandes' fellow countryman Ruben Neves

And Fernandes was asked by a fan if he could convince Neves to join Man United in January.
He appeared to smile when the fan pleaded with the Red Devils skipper, seemingly suggesting a transfer could be in the works.
Is Ruben Neves joining Manchester United?
A report in The Times claim Neves is seeking a move away from Saudi Arabia ahead of the January transfer window, alerting Man United, who are among the teams interested in securing his services.
He wants to return to the Premier League, having enjoyed a spell in England's top flight with Wolves.
The midfielder, 28, has turned down the chance to sign a new contract with Al Hilal, who signed the player in the summer of 2023.

But, according to David Ornstein, there is nothing 'concrete' regarding Man United's pursuit of Neves.
On NBC Sports, he said: "We’ve see Ruben Neves and James Garner linked, but I’m not aware of anything concrete on that point."
The transfer window reopens in a few days, which could see Man United ramp up their pursuit of Neves.
