Angry Ginge has revealed the most famous contact in his phone as the social media influencer approaches two weeks on I'm a Celeb.

Streamer Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, is appearing on the popular ITV reality show alongside 11 other celebrities.

They include his friend and rapper Aitch, ex-footballer Alex Scott and Jack Osbourne.

Angry Ginge has quickly become one of the most popular campmates and is already the early favourite to win the show.

Before entering the jungle, he built a following through streaming and YouTube content, predominantly focused on football and gaming.

He is a passionate Manchester United supporter and even holds a season ticket at Old Trafford.

He also has the club's all-time record goalscorer, Wayne Rooney, among his phone contacts, having developed a friendship through FIFA Pro Clubs.

Last year, the England legend joined Girth N Turf, a FIFA team set up by Angry Ginge.

Rooney and Ginge even developed a jokey relationship while playing the game.

Rooney was heard saying: "If yous want us back I'll be back."

Ginge replied: "You can come back tomorrow, mate. Don't be s*** again."

Rooney shot back: "Ah, you ginger c***!"

Angry Ginge also revealed that Rooney reached out after finding out he would be heading into the Australian jungle.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “He was buzzing when I told him I was up for it. He said he can’t wait and he’ll be voting for me to do trials as well.

“Every single one you’ve just named [Wayne, Luke and James] basically said they’re going to try and make sure I do the trials.

“So at least I know I’ve got the backing of them to make me do trials.”

Rooney's wife Coleen entered the jungle last year and went on to finish as runner-up.

Ginge revealed she had also helped him prepare for his stint in the jungle.

“I’ve had some advice off Coleen as well, so that was good," he said.

"Some tips and tricks while we’re in there.

“I’m not going to be sharing it, because I feel as though once I share it, that advice will be nullified – therefore I won’t be able to use it.”

The series began on Sunday, November 16, and no one has yet been voted off the show.

Last year, the first celebrity left on day thirteen, so the first elimination is expected in the coming days.

However, Angry Ginge is unlikely to be concerned, as he is currently the clear favourite to win the show.
