Andre Onana produced a second costly error in a week for Manchester United against Burnley.

The Cameroonian passed the ball straight to Jayden Bogle for the opener against Sheffield United in midweek.

United went on to come from behind to win 4-2, but Onana made another high-profile error at Old Trafford on Saturday to result in Burnley's equaliser.

Onana came out to punch the ball and timed it all wrong, completely taking out Zeki Amdouni with a sickening impact.

The former Inter Milan goalkeeper was let off the hook for a similar incident against Wolves on matchday one but after watching on the screen, referee John Brooks did not hesitate to award the late spot-kick.

Amdouni dusted himself off to roll in a sixth penalty out of six in his senior career.

Antony had put United up with his first Premier League goal of the season but the Red Devils had to settle for a point against Vincent Kompany's men.

United are sixth in the Premier League having taken 54 points from 34 games.

They find themselves six points of fifth-placed Tottenham, who also have two games in hand.

Newcastle are breathing down the necks of United and sit one point behind them after a resounding 5-1 win over Sheffield United.

Onana has saved United on many an occasion this season and his heroics in the FA Cup semi-final penalty shoot-out against Coventry set up a date in the final with Manchester City.

But he has had his fair share of howlers and the latest received plenty of reaction online.

One wrote: "What is Onana doing? Oh my God."

A second simply said: "Onana is so bad man."

A third fan commented: "Onana is the gift that keeps on giving.

Another added: "Onana’s a fantastic goalkeeper, but that bozo gene is too strong man what the hell."
