Pep Guardiola is set to LEAVE Manchester City next summer and the club have already drawn up a blockbuster four-man shortlist.

Guardiola inspired Man City to their fourth consecutive Premier League title this season.

He has an incredible six league titles to his name since arriving at the Etihad back in 2016.

But Guardiola is expected to call time on his Man City managerial career at the end of next season, according to The Daily Mail.

The Spaniard has just 12 months left on his current contract as sources believe he will walk away once his deal expires.

Man City will give Guardiola time to make a final decision on his future and want him to remain in charge, having led the club to 15 major trophies, including winning a first Champions League title.

The club's hierarchy fear that his ninth year will represent the end of his stunning spell while they stress that there has been no formal indication either way from him.

Club chiefs have their eyes on four managers ahead of being tasked with replacing the 53-year-old.

The report states that Girona's Michel, Julian Nagelsmann, Xabi Alonso and Roberto De Zerbi are all thought to be in the running to replace Guardiola in the summer of 2025.

Michel, 48, has been talked about as a potential successor within the City Group. He led Girona to an impressive third-place finish in La Liga this season.

Nagelsmann, who will take charge of Germany at Euro 2024, is contracted until 2026 and has experience of managing Bayern Munich.

Alonso, who turned down the chance to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, is highly thought of following his incredible success at Bayer Leverkusen.

And Guardiola himself admires De Zerbi, who is without a team following his Brighton departure.
