Manchester City have reportedly named their price for Jack Grealish after it emerged he will not be going to the Club World Cup tournament.

A treble winner and key player in 2023, Grealish made just seven starts in the Premier League last season and manager Pep Guardiola apologised to the former Aston Villa captain for the lack of minutes he gave him.

The England international was an unused substitute in the FA Cup final defeat to Crystal Palace and was left out of the final day win over Fulham which secured Champions League football.

Grealish's future at the Etihad Stadium looks bleak, with news that he is not expected to be included in City's travelling party for the Club World Cup in the United States.

The decision is set to be taken in order to allow Grealish to resolve his future.

Grealish, who recently responded to a troll who criticised his form, still has two years remaining on his £300,000-a-week deal signed after City dropped £100 million on him back in 2021.

But according to The Sun, City are willing to take a £60 million hit on their No.10 and entertain offers in the region of £40 million.

Who could Jack Grealish sign for this summer?

It's said that Grealish's representatives are actively looking to find him a new club, with plenty of sides interested.

A shock return to Villa has been mooted despite the animosity surrounding his exit, with fellow Premier League sides Newcastle, Everton and West Ham also keeping tabs.

Grealish could also have an offer from abroad as Serie A giants Napoli are believed to have registered interest.

The newly crowned Italian champions are widely expected to sign City legend Kevin De Bruyne on a free transfer and could reunite him with Grealish.

"Of course, Jack has to play," Guardiola said last month when asked about Grealish's situation.

"He’s an unbelievable player that has to play football every three days. It didn’t happen this season and last season either. He needs to do it, with us or another place.

“It’s a question for Jack, his agent and the club. If he stays it will be fine and he will fight like he fought from day one to make a contribution, but not today.

“It’s nothing personal with Jack. I’m the person who fought for him to come here and the person who fought for him to stay here this season. I’m the one who said I want Jack Grealish. What happens in the future is a job for Txiki (Begiristain), Hugo (Viana) and the agents.”

Grealish could be one of many departures for City this summer, with John Stones and Kyle Walker also potentially moving on.

The club are not messing around when it comes to incomings though, having agreed deals to sign AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders and Wolves left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri.
