Kevin De Bruyne has dropped a transfer bombshell about his future after inspiring Manchester City to a big win over Crystal Palace.

Man City came from behind to beat Palace 5-2 at the Etihad on Saturday as semi-automated offside technology was used for the first time.

The visitors raced into a two-goal lead before De Bruyne pulled one back with a stunning free-kick.

The Belgium international, who was playing in his first game since announcing his summer departure, was instrumental as Omar Marmoush drew level.

In the second-half, Mateo Kovacic put his side ahead before James McAtee and Nico O'Reilly added a fourth and fifth.

De Bruyne's showing proved he can still perform at the highest level as the Blues endure a difficult campaign.

His impending exit will leave a huge void as Man City will be tasked with replacing his luxurious services at the end of the season, with a Premier League star on their radar.

As for De Bruyne, he will 'analyse all the offers' he receives ahead of making a decision on his next career move.

That's according to Jan Aage Fjortoft, who spoke to the player following Man City's victory.

Fjortoft asked De Bruyne about 'offers from England', with the 33-year-old not ruling out a move to another Premier League club.

On X, he wrote: "De Bruyne just told me he will analyse all offers he gets. I asked him about 'offers from England'.

"Replied that he doesn’t exclude anything (any projects) at this stage, but that he hasn’t even seen his family since the decision."

De Bruyne had a spell at Chelsea before signing for Man City in the summer of 2015.

He only played nine games for Chelsea.

His performance against Palace could tempt clubs across the country to make an offer as Pep Guardiola hailed his star man.

"The performance of Kevin De Bruyne is what he has done for many, many years, in many, many games," he said. "Unfortunately lately he could not do it for the problems that he has in injuries for one year, a long year, surgery and so on.

"But he played fantastic, helped us to break this momentum that was not good."

Guardiola added: "No one can do what Kevin De Bruyne has done."
