Fans have noticed strange detail in Erling Haaland's Instagram post celebrating Man City win

Erling Haaland was sidelined with injury as Manchester City beat Everton in the Premier League

Fans have spotted a strange detail in Erling Haaland’s Instagram post after Manchester City’s win against Everton.

On Wednesday night, City travelled to Goodison Park as they look to continue their defence of the Premier League.

The Toffees led 1-0 at halftime thanks to a close-range finish from Jack Harrison.

However, City switched on the style in the second half as goals from Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez and Bernardo Silva completed a 3-1 comeback win.

Despite being sidelined with an injury, Haaland took to social media to celebrate City’s latest victory.

The Norwegian star striker posted a picture of his TV screen with a caption that read: “Yesssssssss @bernardocarvalhosilva.”

However, fans have spotted that the scoreline graphic on Haaland’s picture is different to the one on Amazon Prime Video, who were broadcasting the match live in the United Kingdom.

This led to fans speculating what device Haaland was watching the match on.

On social media, one fan said: “Man is watching an illegal livestream.”

Another tweeted: “Haaland watching on a dodgy IPTV stick, was not on my bingo card.”

A third fan added: “Man like Erling watching on illegal IPTV.”

Despite the fans’ speculation, it could be that Haaland was not in the UK and therefore wasn’t able to watch the match via Amazon Prime.

When asked about Haaland’s fitness, City boss Pep Guardiola said: “Still he's not with the team. He feels better with his bone but he hasn't made one training session with us. Unfortunately December is so congested with so many teams.

“January is so congested. Hopefully in January he can come back with us.”

Guardiola also gave an update on Kevin de Bruyne, who has been out of action since August. The City boss said: “Last week he trained with us, today he had a little bit of fatigue because he's training hard.”

City will take on Sheffield United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
