Former Charlton and Millwall star Madelene Wright has returned to playing football despite earning a ridiculous amount of money from OnlyFans.

Wright was sacked by Charlton in 2020 after the club came across "unacceptable" leaked SnapChat videos where she was reportedly seen 'inhaling from a balloon' and 'drinking champagne at the wheel of her Range Rover' Evoque.

The club acted after being made aware of the video, which followed on from an investigation from Millwall for filming a friend putting a dog's paws on the wheel of their moving car.

Wright, who gained a strong following on social media, put her football career and began posting on OnlyFans, setting up a page with a subscription fee set at $33 (£24) per month.

The full-back primarily posts bikini, lingerie and football shirt pictures and after being ranked sixth on the list of the most liked members on subscription services like OnlyFans and FanTime, she claims she made around half a million in one year.

"In the first year I made in the ballpark of half a million pounds," Wright told The Sun.

"I can't lie, it has completely changed my life.

"I was able to get my own place, I have been able to travel the world and have enjoyed a lot of luxurious things.

"As long as you learn from your mistakes, make the right moves going forward, there is light at the end of the tunnel."

It changed Wright's life and she now has over 300,000 followers on Instagram, as well as a further 82,000 on X.

But she has always harboured hopes of returning to football and has just done yet that with Leyton Orient Women.

There are no details on her contract but she was named on the bench in the FA Cup clash against Cheshunt on Sunday and came on to score the fourth goal in a 4-2 win.

The post on the goal racked up a staggering 3.6 million views on X, in addition to 13,9000 likes.

Wright has continued to post on OnlyFans, where she has 35,000 likes across 223 pictures and 58 videos.
