Liverpool fans are not happy after they believe a clip of Trent Alexander-Arnold has given the biggest hint about his future at the club yet.

There is just three months left of what has been a thrilling Premier League season for Liverpool fans, and yet they are still no closer to knowing what the future of star players Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk will be.

Despite being perhaps the three most important players in Arne Slot's squad, the stars are all currently set to leave the club as free agents when their contracts expire at the end of the current season.

But fans are convinced that they have been given a massive hint about Alexander-Arnold's plans after an interview with the defender went viral online.

Since discussions over Alexander-Arnold's contract started to emerge over the summer, concern has grown that the 26-year-old will decide against extending his contract to instead join England teammate Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid.

And in his latest interview with Pro Direct Soccer, Liverpool fans are certain that the defender may have let it slip that he will be joining the La Liga giants after he mentioned two Real Madrid legends in the video.

In the clip, the Liverpool star is shown the Predator Elite Tongue x Moments boots and he takes the time to speak about his admiration for both David Beckham and Zinedine Zidane.

Reacting to the clip, one Liverpool fan wrote: "Last time I saw an interview where they give him a pair of Preds he couldn’t keep Gerrards name out of his mouth, now it’s Beckham and Zidane haha not subtle at all."

In another comment, the fan added: "It’s as if it’s the worst kept secret. No one even asks him about it, Virgil an Mo get asked all the time.

"It’s as if everyone around the club just know he’s already made his mind up. Boyhood club and vice captain, you’d think he’d do some tracking back in games for the side."

While another agreed, adding: "This is honestly mad. One of the most important seasons ever and he’s getting away with murder. At least make your stance clear."

However, others pointed out that the boots that Alexander-Arnold was speaking about in the clip include quotes and 'moments' of iconic goals scored by the two Madrid stars, likely explaining why he spoke about them so fondly in the interview.
