Fans have been left in awe of Ryan Gravenberch's performance for Liverpool against Toulouse.

The Reds ran away comprehensive 5-1 winners in their Europa League clash on Thursday evening thanks to goals from Diogo Jota, Wataru Endo, Darwin Nunez, Gravenberch and Mohamed Salah.

It was a dominant display from Jurgen Klopp's side as they made it three wins out of three in the competition.

But aside from the result, Liverpool fans will have been delighted by Gravenberch's performance in the middle of the park.

The 21-year-old joined the Anfield outfit from Bayern Munich over the summer for a reported fee of £34 million - a figure which already looks to be a bargain.

The Dutchman encompassed everything that was good about Liverpool on the night, playing a major role in the Reds' third goal.

After going on a dazzling run past several defenders, Gravenberch slid an incisive pass into Curtis Jones. With a slice of luck, the Englishman's deflected shot landed at the feet of Nunez, who smashed the ball past Guillaume Restes in goal.

Gravenberch then capped off his evening with his second goal for the club, as he calmly tucked the ball into an empty net after rounding the goalkeeper.

Taking to social media to praise the midfielder, one fan wrote: "£35m. Ryan Gravenberch is turning out to be such a steal."

While another added: "This Ryan Gravenberch masterclass is a pleasure to watch. The natural footballing ability on show is phenomenal. We've robbed Bayern Munich blind."

"Buddy is just floating around the pitch," another chimed in.

"Gravenberch was a joy to watch tonight," a fourth wrote. "Touch, finesse, silky turns — we saw it all.

"The ease with which he glides through the pitch, seamlessly changing direction, is so natural, What's truly frightening? He's just started — the kid is going to be a star and he’s ours."
